This approach to recording a life history comprises 10 hours of interviews, transcriptions, and editing into a manuscript. Once the narrative is approved, photographs and other art are added to the design and the book is printed, either soft or hardbound. A permanent archive.
Personal books can:
- Convey a complete life story – parents, grandparents, childhood, family, career, hobbies, wisdoms
- Bring a memoir focus to a particular life period – childhood, courtship, or military service
- Celebrate a specific event, such as a 50th anniversary tribute
